San Marcos High Vandalism Locks Students Out

KEYT

At least one student faces serious disciplinary action after locks at San Marcos High School were vandalized this week with glue.

Three other students may also be involved.

The problem was discovered Tuesday morning.

Over 100 locks were damaged. Repairs could take a month.

Extra security has been added to the campus until all the doors are repaired.

The total cost is expected to exceed $25 thousand dollars.

One of the students involved is reportedly a senior with a pending college athletic scholarship.

The school district says students involved in this kind of offense are suspended and, if they are a senior, they can not take part in graduation.
